DaDs DaY

With today being Fathers Day i'd like to jot down some things I love about

"My Baby Daddy!" :)

-He's quite the Handyman

-He makes me laugh cuz he's SOOOOOOOOO funny

-He Makes me cry cuz he's SOOOOO Sweet.

-He's doesn't complain (besides a bad call in sports,typical guy thing!)

-He likes to be outdoors

-He doesn't hold grudges

-He loves me for me...the good AND the bad.

-He looks WAY HOT in hats! ;)

-He's extremly CHILL (can be bad thing depending on the situtation haha)

-He makes me feel confident when I tear myself down

-He plays with my hair ( on those rare occasions I wear it down :)

-He cares about people and is willing serve

-He's a great kisser!

-He's my all time BEST FRIEND

-He'll do things with and for me even if he'd rather not

-He's respectful

-He is such a Hard Worker

-His eyes are amazing

-He's a little rough around the edges but has a heart of gold

-His butt looks so nice in jeans

-He'll watch Chick Flicks with me

-He loves Sports and is an amazing all around athlete

-He paints my toes when i'm pregnant

-He is Honest (sometimes a little "too" Honest)

-He makes me feel safe

-His calves....all I can say is DANG!!!

-He gets me a glass of water even when he doesn't want to :)

-He helps me with the laundry and other house chores

-He looks cute when he "trys" to dance

-He enjoys the simple things in life

-He thinks i'm pretty

-Family is the most important thing to him

-He likes to cuddle

-He let's me be right even if he knows i'm wrong (which is 90% of the time... shhhh :)

-He laughs at my stupid jokes... who knows if he's laughing with me or at me??

-He'll play Yatzee with me til 1:00 AM

-He has alot of the same likes and dislikes that I do

-He sounds so good when he sings along to Tim McGraw

-He comes across as shy but get him going and he wont stop

-He makes me feel special

and last but not least....

He is BY FAR the BEST DADDY EVER!!!!

I love the way he loves our kids.

I can tell he genuinely loves the roll of being a Dad and all that comes with it!

From changing diapers, to feeding a bottle, to wiping a running nose

or kissing an 'owie' to reading a story and tucking them in tight

he does it all without any hesitation!!!

I couldn't have picked a better guy to be the Father of my kids!

Druw and McKynlee are very lucky to have him as their Dad.

Saturday May 15th 2010 was a great day!

My little baby sis got married.

Sheri has dreamed of this day forever!

She has always been so

BOY CRAZY

and quite the

LITTLE FLIRT

ever since she was a little girl, litterally!

My sister Emily puts it the best,

"When she was 8 she had crushes on 18 year olds.... yeah, kinda cute...

but when she was 18 she had crushes on 30 year olds...yeah NOT so cute!!" Ha ha!

Sheri is the youngest of the bunch and the last one to be married off.

It's pretty crazy to think all 6 of us kids are now married with our own seperate lives.

Time just goes by way too fast!

We are all so happy for the NEWLYWEDS!

She couldn't of picked a better match,

Nick is such a great guy who treats her great and loves and adores EVERYTHING about her.

We're super excited to have him officially part of family!

Pre Schoolin' days are over and done.....

........until fall that is!!

Druw is already asking, no BEGGING to go back to school

and it's only been overwith for a week!

This is going to be a long summer ha ha!

He's probably thinking how fun the last day was with a

PIZZA PARTY and a BOUNCE HOUSE!

I'm sure that's just a small part of his "PRE SCHOOL WITHDRAWL"......

He really just LOVED everything about School and loved and adored Mrs. Morgan!

I couldn't have asked for a better School and a Better teacher for him!

Fall seriously can't come fast enough for this little guy!

Good job DRUW!

McKynlee 3 Months

Here is a little update on McKynlee @ 3 months old:

She weighs 11bs 10oz

Her length is 24 inches

She loves to coo...

She sleeps through the night and has since 2 months

She now sleeps in her own room in her crib

She laughs which is so cute

She LOVES her big brother

She likes bath time but hates getting out and getting cold

She's a smiley little girl

She isn't too fond of tummy time but is getting used to it

She has totally descovered her hands and now always has them up to her mouth

She is growing up way too fast and is getting so big but....

She is healthy happy and beautiful....what more could I ask for!!!

This weather is CRAZY!!!

Today is March....yup MARRCH 13th....

Yesterday was a beautiful SUNNY Spring

55 degree shorts and a T-shirts kind of a day....

then.....

SNOW the next day.....c'mon now REALLY!!??!!

This is NOT what I like to call Srping!

BUT... there is postive side to this snowy day.....

building a SNOWMAN!

Since Druw has had a cold I didn't want him out there too long so

Nate being the COOL Dad that he is

built the Snowman then Druw went out to decorate it!!
It turned out GREAT!!!

So the SMILE on Druws face was worth it...

But

PLEEEEEASE Mother Nature BRING ON THE 80+ DEGREE SUNNY DAYS!!!

A swimming pool sounds SOOOOOOOO nice right about now

plus that can put a smile on my boys face too!! :)

McKynlees Baby Blessing

Sunday March 7th 2010 was a very special Sunday to our family.

Our little baby girl McKynlee Joy Carr was blessed.

Nate gave such an AMAZING blessing and of course I was crying from start to finish.

He sure loves his 'baby girl'

I feel so blessed to have a husband worthy of his priestood, it means SO much to me.

Thank you Nate for making this day so special!!!

We are so lucky to have McKynlee in our lives.

She really is such a "Joy" to have.

She brings such a sweet spirit into our home.

I love her innocence.

She is so precious.

I know she is a choice Daughter of God, and I thank him EVERY day for the opportunity he has given me to be her Mother.

This story will just pull at your heartsrtings and your emotions. I do not know this family personally but from reading her blog I have grown to love and care for them. Being a mother myself, I feel for this other Mom in so many ways. What happenend to her sweet little baby boy is truly one of a mothers worst nightmares. Reading her REAL, RAW, HEART FELT posts about the incodent that occured and the days following, I sympothize with her, I cry with her, I feel for her and it has made me love and appreciate the the little thing we all take for granted... LIFE. Kiss the ones you love and appreciate every second with them because any second it can be taken from you. Please keep this family in your prayers! They need it!

McKynlees Photo Shoot

Here is a little update on McKynlee:

Today she is exactly 6 weeks old.

She's a pretty good sleeper.

She's a dang good eater.

She started to koo and it's the cutest thing ever.

She loves bath time.

She loves being sung to.

She's got the cutest dimples when she smiles.

She's doing great and we all love her so much!

I know i'm behind on posting pictures of her.... sorry I promise i'll do better.

Druws first day of preschool!!

Last week Druw started preschool!

I can't believe he is old enough to be in preschool... where does time go?

It really feels like just yesterday I just had him.

He's growing up on me WAAAAAY to fast!!

He was SO excited for his FIRST DAY!
He wore his backpack the whole moring before we left, it was so dang cute!
His teachers name is Mrs Morgan who he just LOVES! She is GREAT!
It is such a cute preschool and I'm so excited for him to learn and grow and be one smart cookie!

I know i'm a few days late on posting this i've just been in pure heaven with my little angel that I have put it off til now... sorry yall!

McKynlee Joy Carr

Born: December 16, 2009

Time: 11:19 AM

Weight: 7lbs 10oz

Length: 20 inches

The labor and delivery went great and couldn't have gone any better.

Nate made a cute little log while we were there and this is what it said:

8:00 AM -Started pitosin

contractions were 5 to 6 min apart when we got here now they are 4 to 5 min apart.
9:30 AM- Dilated to a 3, Dr Broke her water and got epideral

10:45 AM- Dilated to a 4

11:10 AM- Dilated to a 10 and head showing

11:19 AM- She was born

So as you can tell things went really really fast.
It was pretty funny cuz Nate and I were inour own little world just playing Phase 10 when the nurse came in to check me and said WOW okay that was quick, she's coming, you're going to have this baby any minute! Then one good push and another little push she was here!

She was healthy in every way, with Druw it was totally opposite so it was really nice being able to just have nothing wrong with her not even the typical jaundice babys get.

She is so cute and adorable, I can't get enough of her! She couldn't be more perfect!

I'm literally addicted to her!!

I just feel SO incredibly blessed to have the little family that I have!
I LOOOOOOOOOVE being a wife and a Mom it is the best thing ever and I really am go greatful to have Nate as my hubby and as the father of my kids. He really is the BEST daddy ever and McKynlee already has him wrapped around her little finger. It's so cute to see him with her. He's also been a BIG help to me with my recovery and stuff! I LOVE YOU NATE!
And Druw...where do I start with that kiddo? He is so precious! Seeing my little boy instantly become SO big was pretty tough but he has adjusted to the change really well. He LOVES his little sister and cuddles her and loves on her every chance he gets. It's so cute to see them interact with eachother.
