Last Week Adventures March 8-15

Last week the weather was pretty much nice EVERY single day... so we spent ALOT of time outside doing "outside stuff" Here is some of it.....

Side walk chalk was big hit! These kids are artists I tell!

I even gave in and let them trace me. McKynlee positioned me how she wanted, which was
 a ballerina, of course.

This was my view from my kitchen window one day as I was making the girls some lunch!

One day the girls and I spent most of the afternoon just sitting out on the front lawn. We looked at clouds, sent a balloon off in the air and watched it until it disappeared, we ate snacks, drew more chalk, rode the 'outside toys' played babies and obviously took some silly selfies.
 I love these goofballs!

My cute Visiting Teachers even got in on the chalk action when they came to visit me. I walked out later that day and saw this cute little message. They are the BEST!

We had lots of bubble days, but one specific day was better than the others!
Hailey hit a ONE MONTH SEIZURE FREE on Saturday, so we celebrated with BUBBLES!

I know our back yard is cramped with the trampoline the sandbox and a swing set, BUT the kids LOVE it and I LOVE it. A full backyard always makes my heart happy! So as tight as a squeeze as it might be right now, I wouldn't change thing!
Here is why... Do you blame me??

Look at those smiles as they swing! Oh to be a kid again!

There have been many Trampoline days. I absolutely LOVE having the kids friends come over to play, especially to jump. They are out there for hours just playing, it's the BEST!  I remember when I was a kid and I spent most of my time outside on the tramp with my friends.
Good times and great memories
Sun and Sand are two of my favorite things, and this is a place where the kids a lot of their time, especially Hailey when the big kids are jumping.

Druw started runners club. It is where they stay after school once a week and practice ways to become a better faster runner. He loved it, and plans to go each week. It probably helped that his best buddy Ash along with his other friends Mac and Banks and Devon were there.
See him in the red shirt warming up and stretching? Go Druw, Go! :)
While the boys ran the kids played.

Another Library Day! I love how they are always up there front and center. They love the Library!

Jenn invited Druw to go with them to the Lego roadshow at the fashion place mall. Druw has not stopped talking about how huge and cool all the stuff was. He was in Lego heaven!!
Just from the pictures I am blown away by the detail and the time it must have taken to build all that!
Soooooooooooo cool!

I asked if I could keep Annie here with us while they were at the Lego show and  I am so glad I did!
I loved watching her and Hailey play. They are at the funnest age for pretend play with dress up, baby dolls. barbies you name it.. its the CUTEST!  They were so happy and cute the whole time.
I love that they love each other. BFFS!
McKynlee was so cute with them playing school. She was the teacher and they were the students.
She is a natural!

Friday I was to wake up bright and early and go to the temple and do a session. I have never gone by myself, so this would be a first for me and honestly it was really nice. On the car ride there I was able to think and reflect about some things I am struggling with . It was quiet, it was nice and it helped prepare me for the temple. I had my pandora, LDS Hyms of Worship station playing. As I was in deep thought, the Song "Be still My Soul" came on. I couldn't hold back the tears. I needed to hear those words. I have really been struggling with anxiety pretty bad lately so I knew this was Heavenly Fathers way of talking to me, letting me know things were going to be aright. I had a great session and afterwards, because I was on my own time frame, I spent a good half hour just sitting in the celestial room. It was so nice. Just what I needed.

Hailey had an accident and split her head open, which was totally my fault. I was hanging up a new metal decoration, she had just woken up from her nap and came out and sat right under my feet. As I was hanging it up reaching for another nail it fell off the wall the corner of it hit her right smack on the head. Because head wounds tend to bleed like crazy I instantly grabbed a rag and put pressure on it. There was a lot of blood. As I was getting ready to head out the door to take her to the doc, Jenn came running over to the rescue and  took Druw and Kynn and told me to put a headband around the rag... genius! The whole way there she was crying and asking for Daddy. It broke my heart. Once we got there and got checked in Nate walked through the door. He is the best!
Once we went back to the doctor Hailey was so brave. She literally didn't make a single peep, even when they were cleaning off the area. WOW, she is one tough cookie!! Luckily they didn't have to do stitches and only glued it. That made me feel a lot better.

When we got back home, Hailey was doing fine so I had the bright idea to finish hanging up the decoration. Well, I was trying to pull a stubborn nail out of the wall... lets just say I got in a fight with the hammer and the hammer won. It hit me smack dab on the corner of the eye, HARD! I don't know how it didn't break skin. I cried so hard! Nate wondered what the heck happened, then when he saw me hiding in the closet ( don't ask) holding my eye he couldn't help but laugh until he saw the size of the goose egg on my eye. Then he grabbed me an ice pack and told me to lay down. Even a week later it is still bruised and super sensitive. That's what I get for being to aggressive with a stubborn hammer.

Saturday Night these two went out on a date with one of my AWESOME young women, Ashton.
Have I ever mentioned how much I love being a young womens leader??  Well I do, its the BEST!!
She invited them to go see the Aladdin play at the Junior High School. They loved it!
Ashton told me that Harrison had so much fun scaring them and making them laugh. HAHA!

This weekend was Stake Conference. So Saturday night I was able to go and attend the adult session with Jenn. It was a great meeting. Then Sunday I went to an early morning youth fireside, that too was also amazing. Then for church, we went to the Stake Center as a family a listened. It was nice because Jenn and the kids sat right in front of us so we all worked together keeping the kids quiet, happy and entertained. It was the BEST!

We finished off the week with family dinner at Grammy and Paws. We BBQ'd, and ate outside. It was so great! I love our family gatherings. There is always lots of laughs and great conversations.

Unfortunately, while the kids were at the park playing Hailey had a seizure on the swings. Luckily Nate was right there by her to grab her from falling back. She bounced back pretty quick from this one thank goodness. Pretty ironic that just the day before we celebrated one month seizure free, then the next day a seizure strikes. Stupid Seizures. I hate you!
