Nate-

I want to take the time to write a post especially for you. Today is Fathers Day and to me that is one of the most important days of the year. This is a Day that Dads all over the world are recognized for the wonderful job that they do. I Just want to say to you that I couldn't have asked for a better Dad for my kids than you. Your really are an amazing Dad! Druw has so much fun with you and he looks up to you in so many ways. I hope when the day comes he'll be just as as good as a dad to his own kids as you are to him. When I watch you play with and care for and love Druw the way that you do, it melts my heart becasue I can tell that you genuinely LOVE being a Dad! I am so looking forward to December when baby #2 is here, I know you'll be just as great to this one as you have been with Druw!!

We LOOOOVE CaMpInG!!!

A few weeks ago we went on a fun little weekend camp getaway! Is was so much fun! To me really there isn't anything better than being in the outdoors enjoying nature having a fun kick back time with family and friends! We went with Justin and Kassy, Katy, all the kiddos and Jackie and Walt (apparantly Druws new grandma and grandpa :) ha ha!!
We had such a great a time and did alot of fun stuff! We played games, we shot guns at targets, we went 4 wheeling, we ate yummy food and made smores. We seriously would go camping every weekend if we could! The only downfall this camp trip was it rained (but not too bad) and poor Kassy was feeling a little sick but other than that it was a blast!

Dr. Appoinment AND Druw At The Park

Today I had my doctor appoinment to hear the babies heart beat. I remember with Druw it was such an exciting appoinment to go to and that's just how this one was too. It was even funner this time around because Druw was there with us when we heard it. He got a little bit concerned and confused when he saw me climb up on the table (proabably becasue he has had night terrors latlely of me getting hurt at the doctors or becasue he remembers when he has gone to the doctors he's had to get shots... I dunno??) but once he saw that I was happy smiling and okay he was fine. When we heard the babies heart it was so awesome! Druw knew what was going on too since this past week i've been telling him we get to go to the doctors and hear babys heart beat so it was fun. When I was done with the heart beat part my doctor showed us a little figured model of what my baby looked like in size and all that. He let Druw hold the little baby and he was SOOOOOOO cute with it. He started to rock it back and forth in his lttle hands and gave it kisses, then he put it under his shirt and the Dr said "Is that your baby in your belly?" and Druw got all shy and said "yes!" I know He is going to be such a cute big brother! I can't wait!!! :)

While i'm mentioning cute things that Druw has done, and since this is kinda my way of journaling I have to tell ya about what he did when my Mom and I took him to the park a few days ago. While we were there we were sitting on this cute little hidden bridge with a little pond about ankle deep that slowly flows underneath it. The kids love to just sit on it and throw rock and stick and leaves. Well druw saw that I had my feet dangling in it so he wanted to get in so bad that I let him. He loved it! He was splashing and having a blast. Then out of the blue he says," Mama I wanna get baptized." and bent down and put the top of his head in the water and said smiling ear to ear, "I got baptized!!!" It really was so cute and sweet. I'm glad that he knows what being baptized is and that he is learing and catching on to what we teach him. Looking at those church pictures and having him watch the Book of Mormon kid videos at my Moms has really paid off!! He's such a smart little kid!!! :)

A Little Help Anyone??

So I know I have been blogging now for almost a year but there are still a few things I do not have figured out yet and I need help. (Em since you helped me put it all togther maybe you can "remind" (ha ha) me what do.

-How do you add other peoples blogs to your blog list? And how do you make it show when they updated last?

-How do you make the songs play randomly instead of always playing the same order everytime?

-How do you add youtube videos to your blog?

I know these are probably really easy to do and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out, but it's me we're talking about, me+computers= don't go well together!! :)

DrUw Is GoInG tO bE a BiG bRoThEr!!!!!

So I am officially breaking the news (to those who don't already know)... I'M PREGGERS!!!

The way I broke the news to Nate and to some of my family was just as the picture of Druw above shows.... I went to Nates shop and Druw had on a jacket and I took it off and Nate kinda looked at him and then looked at me and then said "sweet!!!" and gave us both a huge hug. It was way cute!!

We are SOOO excited!! I am 12 weeks along and feeling great!! No morning sickness or nothing. I'm just tired alot more and I do feel like I am getting bigger quicker than I did with Druw but i've been told by alot of people that's pretty common on your second one. Druw is super duper excited and he totally understands that I have a baby in my tummy. It's so cute to watch and listen to him. He always kisses my belly goodnight and says "night night baby" I'm always asking him , "do you want a baby brother or a baby sister?" and he says "baby sister" Then I ask "do you want a boy or a girl?" and he says "Boy." It makes me laugh and I try to explain to him a sister is a girl and a brother is a boy but he doesn't understand that much yet. He is just at such a cute stage right now that I wish I had a video camera on him constantly. He's always giving Nate and I good entertainment and lots of laughs!! It's just so crazy to me to think that I am going to have two kids and that Druw isn't going to be my little baby anymore. I get kinda choked up and have cried a couple times when I think about it too much. It's just been him and us for the past 3 years so it's going to be an adjustment with a baby by sharing my time my attention and my love with two kiddos... but we're excited, we've got alot of love to give :) (But If there are any Moms out there who have some advise for me on adjusting to two i'd sure love to hear it.) I feel we've given Druw a good amount of time with just him and us and have had alot of fun memories. Druw really is going to be the cutest best big brother ever!

We're really looking forward to expanding our little family and hope that this baby is healthy and that everything will go well this pregnancy. I'll keep everyone updated on the latest.

Ahhhhh..... WE"RE SO DANG EXCITED!!!!!

Sorry it's been so long.... Dakota this post is for you!!

So I haven't gotten to blog in a while now. Our camera was lost, the charger is still lost, and so I haven't had pictures to put up. I should've just got on to write posts but it's so much more fun with pictures. Well alot has happened with us latley! Some news i'll post later because I for sure want pictures with it. I got a call from my cute sister in law who is pregnant and is on strict bed rest telling me I need to update my blog because she gets bored sitting in bed and loves to look at peoples blog.... so Sorry Dakota for being lazy!! :) I'll do better I promise and i'll write about funny things that happen since they tend to happen alot at our house!!!

Funny Storties To Tell....

So some funny things have already happened this week and it's only Wednesday who knows what will happen next!! I'll start off by what happened Monday. After FHE we went outside to kick back on our deck and look up at the stars since it was such a clear pretty night. We we're sitting there for about 10 mintutes just chit chatting then Nate stood up to go inside, a second later I hear a big CRASH the OUCH!! Nate had run right into the screen door on our deck so bad that it made the screen bend in half and come off the door hing!! We couldn't help but laugh our heads off!! Normally it's me doing the clutsy moves like that so it was a nice change seeing Nate feeling stupid for once!! :) Ha Ha I love you babe!! The cute thing about it was he said, he was just trying to be nice by going in to get me a blanket!! I've got the best hubby ever!!
The other funny thing that happened, happened today while my Mom was watching Druw. I walk in the door from work and my says there is something I have to see... so she opens the door to the back yard and we walk out to the playhouse... she starts cracking up and says see while pointing to the steps... I look down and there is 3 logs of poop sitting there! Druw totally went outside pulled down his pants and did his business on the playhouse steps!!! (Sorry Mom) I couldn't believe it! I was laughing so hard! He has gone pee a few times outside like on a tree and stuff butt NEVER number two!!! What was he thinking?! :) He is fully potty trained so he knows to go on the toilet but I guess he just wanted a change of view or something?!
I love getting a good laugh in and things like this you can't help but laugh at right?! Let's see what will happen next.... cuz something funny is bound to happen at our house so if you ever need a good laugh come on over! There is never a dull moment with us!!! :)

DRAPER TEMPLE

For those of you who have not had a chance to go to the Draper temple open house you are missing out! It is such a pretty temple! We we're lucky enough that we were able to go twice. The first time we went was with my Mom and Dad, my sister and her two little girls and Nate Druw and I. It was on a Thursday early afternoon so it wasn't busy at all. The second time on the other hand was on a Saturday night. We went with Tyson and Danielle some really good friends of ours and boy was it busy!! There were so many people.... i'm not copmplaining it's good thing! :)
I was amazed by the beautiful woodwork that was all throughout the temple! I love the little details that I saw everywhere. I loved the african feel it had to it. I really really loved the murals on the walls in the endowment room but what I loved the most (of course) was the celestial room! Maybe it's just cuz the sweet spirit I feel whenvever I am in a celestial room but this time was just extra special having Druw in there with Nate and I it just made me think of how cool it is we are going to be together forever!! It's the best feeling in the world to know that! I don't know where i'd be (I don't even like to think about it) if I didn't have my family!

I Love Love Love the Temple and i'm so glad we have so many so close by!!

If you haven't gone it's not too late... this is the last week of the open house so I highly recommend going!! :)

TiMpAnOGoS WeLcOmEs KoStA KoUfAs FrOm ThE UTAH JAZZ!!!

Timapanogos was one of 10 shcools in Utah who read enough Jazz reading minutes, which allowed us to have a player from the Utah jazz come and visit and read with the kids.

Kosta Koufas was our lucky guy!! The kids thought he was SO cool because he was so tall, 7 feet tall to be exact. DANG!!! He was so fun and cute with the kids by high fiving them all when he came in and by reading to them and playing the "popcorn" game allowing some kids to come up and read with him. He also put on a little dunking show for us which the kids LOVED!! It was way cool having him come out to our school. We hope we'll read enough minutes next year to allow us another Jazz player. So far we've had 3 let's shoot for 4!!!
