So some funny things have already happened this week and it's only Wednesday who knows what will happen next!! I'll start off by what happened Monday. After FHE we went outside to kick back on our deck and look up at the stars since it was such a clear pretty night. We we're sitting there for about 10 mintutes just chit chatting then Nate stood up to go inside, a second later I hear a big CRASH the OUCH!! Nate had run right into the screen door on our deck so bad that it made the screen bend in half and come off the door hing!! We couldn't help but laugh our heads off!! Normally it's me doing the clutsy moves like that so it was a nice change seeing Nate feeling stupid for once!! :) Ha Ha I love you babe!! The cute thing about it was he said, he was just trying to be nice by going in to get me a blanket!! I've got the best hubby ever!!
The other funny thing that happened, happened today while my Mom was watching Druw. I walk in the door from work and my says there is something I have to see... so she opens the door to the back yard and we walk out to the playhouse... she starts cracking up and says see while pointing to the steps... I look down and there is 3 logs of poop sitting there! Druw totally went outside pulled down his pants and did his business on the playhouse steps!!! (Sorry Mom) I couldn't believe it! I was laughing so hard! He has gone pee a few times outside like on a tree and stuff butt NEVER number two!!! What was he thinking?! :) He is fully potty trained so he knows to go on the toilet but I guess he just wanted a change of view or something?!
I love getting a good laugh in and things like this you can't help but laugh at right?! Let's see what will happen next.... cuz something funny is bound to happen at our house so if you ever need a good laugh come on over! There is never a dull moment with us!!! :)

DRAPER TEMPLE
For those of you who have not had a chance to go to the Draper temple open house you are missing out! It is such a pretty temple! We we're lucky enough that we were able to go twice. The first time we went was with my Mom and Dad, my sister and her two little girls and Nate Druw and I. It was on a Thursday early afternoon so it wasn't busy at all. The second time on the other hand was on a Saturday night. We went with Tyson and Danielle some really good friends of ours and boy was it busy!! There were so many people.... i'm not copmplaining it's good thing! :)
I was amazed by the beautiful woodwork that was all throughout the temple! I love the little details that I saw everywhere. I loved the african feel it had to it. I really really loved the murals on the walls in the endowment room but what I loved the most (of course) was the celestial room! Maybe it's just cuz the sweet spirit I feel whenvever I am in a celestial room but this time was just extra special having Druw in there with Nate and I it just made me think of how cool it is we are going to be together forever!! It's the best feeling in the world to know that! I don't know where i'd be (I don't even like to think about it) if I didn't have my family!

TiMpAnOGoS WeLcOmEs KoStA KoUfAs FrOm ThE UTAH JAZZ!!!
Timapanogos was one of 10 shcools in Utah who read enough Jazz reading minutes, which allowed us to have a player from the Utah jazz come and visit and read with the kids.
Kosta Koufas was our lucky guy!! The kids thought he was SO cool because he was so tall, 7 feet tall to be exact. DANG!!! He was so fun and cute with the kids by high fiving them all when he came in and by reading to them and playing the "popcorn" game allowing some kids to come up and read with him. He also put on a little dunking show for us which the kids LOVED!! It was way cool having him come out to our school. We hope we'll read enough minutes next year to allow us another Jazz player. So far we've had 3 let's shoot for 4!!!
Thanks Kosta you were awesome!!!

Whats been going on with the Carrs.....
Alot has has gone on in the past few weeks. First, this past week has been a very eventful week at the Dentsist office for both Nate and I. It kind of had to be becasue with our insurance expiring at the end of this month we wanted to get all the stuff we needed to get done done so instead of having thousands of dollars in dental bills it would be just a few fundred. So, starting with me, I got a root canal done on Wednesday which really wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. We have an AWEOME dentits so i'll give all the credit to him. I also had a little bump taken off the back of my throat to get sent in for a biposy. The dentist just thinks it's just a little infection nothing too major but just to be safe he wanted it tested. Then on Friday Nate had all four of his wisdom teeth taken out. They were already pushed through the skin so the procedure wasn't as bad as it could've been. He's been doing pretty good though, just a wee bit out of due to the meds. So as you can imagine we've had a house filled with sore mouths. Kinda sucks it was right before Valentines Day no yummy food or yummy kisses :) I guess we'll just have to celebrate it a little late!
. .
The other thing that has been going on in the Carr house is a pretty big deal! Druw is being POTTY TRAINED!!! He has done surprisingly very well. I tried a few months ago and he just wasn't having it. I didn't want to push it so I waited. I just decided to give it another shot last weekend. This time I made a cute little Potty Chart with fun stickers and put it on the wall right across from the toilet so he sees it everytime he sits down to go. I also am doing the whole reward with a piece a candy. So evertime he goes he gets to put a sticker on his chart and he also earns a tootsie roll. He LOVES it!! I really am so impressed with how well he's doing. He will even go without me telling or helping him. He'll just coming runnig up to me all excited saying , " I did it , I go potty in the toywet... yay!!" Then he'll take my hand guide me to the bathroom and say "see" then he flushes the toilet. I still help him wipe but he's getting the hang of it. I love it! We have little prizes marked on the chart, which is like a toy from the dollar store or somthing but his big prize when he fills up the whole potty chart for both the pee and the poo (which is 16 times each one ) is of course switching to big boy underwear, but Nate and I also decided we would take him to a movie at the dollar theater and out to ice cream . We probably are going a little over board but he is our first and it's a big deal for us and him so we want him to know how happy and proud we are of him that he "did it!!"

Lastly I was just called to be in the Young Womens. I am the Sports Director and Assistant Camp Director. I am SO looking forward to these callings. It's funny becasue I still feel and consider myself to be one of the 'girls' since i'm really not that much older than some of them. But it's going to be really fun and neat going to Young Womens as a leader and a teacher instead of a as young women. I hope i'll do a good job!!!

HaRd TiMeS.......
So for those who don't know yet, Nate was laid off from his job Friday January 23 due to the economy. It's been a rough couple weeks for us. Yesterday everything just kinda "hit" me and it hit me hard about our situation. I had so much going through my mind, bills, work, money etc.... it consumed my every thought! I tried but I just couldn't countrol my emotions, I really was just an emotinal mess. I think it was a good thing for me though that I allowed myself that breakdown. I believe in some cases, this being one for me, it's a stress releiver to allow those raw emotions to come out. I let it out and that's all I needed. I'm much better today! A hopeful positive attitude is what i'm going to strive for from here on out. I know I have SO SO SO much to be greatful for and that's what i'm going to focus on. I'm not so much bitter on WHY this happened to us, playing the whole WHY me/us card does absolutely no good. It's the HOW/WHAT that we need to ask ourselves. How can we overcome this and WHAT are we going to do to do that? It is a very scary time to loose a job with the way the economy is and with most places not hiring. So the unkown is what scares us the most, but right now we really are just putting all our faith and trust in the Lord that he is aware of us and our situation and that things will work out for us the way they are supposed to. I strongly believe everything happens for a reason and that this is just a trial we have been faced with but that we WILL overcome. Things will be okay! I know there are so many other people out there in the world who are going through their own adverisities and ours is very mild to most so I really do consider ourselves very lucky when I look at it like that. Things could be alot worse!! My mom, who was the shoulder I had to cry on for the most part, (thanks mom:) had me look up a scripture, it was D&C 68:6 it reads: "Wherefore be of good cheer, and do not fear, for I the Lord am with you, and will stand by you; an ye shall bear record of me, even Jesus Christ, that I am the Son of the living God, that I was that I am, and that I am to come." Reading this scripture really gave me a peaceful feeling. I know we are not alone even though it seems that way at times. We have a loving Heavanly Father who cares about us and is very much aware of us and all our situations. How comforting it is to know that!!! So to all our friends and family please if you can just keep us in you prayers, it'd be very much appreciated!!! We love you all!!!
-I just want to say to Nate that I love you and I am SO greatful for all the hard work do daily for our family and you do it without even with one complant. You are a great example to Druw on what a hard woking man is. Keep your head up babe we'll get through this...things will be okay..... I love you!!!! :)

My SuPeR FuN BiRtHdAy WeEkEnD
For my birthday, since I didn't have to work Friday or Monday it was a sign from above that we needed a little weekend getaway. We decided to go to St George with Em Kev -they have a vacation home there- their little girls and my Mom and Dad! It was SO SO SO SO much fun!!! We we're able to see Sheri which was so nice! We hung out with her alot and even did a little dance party at her house!! Ha ha it was so funny!!!! We even went to her singles ward with her which was pretty eventful. She warned us before hand that it's so quiet in her ward you can hear a pin drop..... ha ha ha well that wasn't the case when we went with 3 little kiddos who like to gibber jabber. Alot of people were getting a kick out of how cute and entertaing they were!! Like i've said before kids will be kids:)
We were able to do alot of fun things, and alot happened for the short time we were there. Here is a break down and some pictures of what we did and what happened!!!
Em Kev Nate and I decided to go to Vegas for a day. It was alot of fun! We ate at the Belogio buffet which was AMAZING, we went to Freemont street and for the first time ever I rolled the dice for Craps, ha ha, it was so much fun!!! We had a blast. (Sorry I don't have any pictures.)
Em and I were talking a few weeks ago about how my Mom used to make us the coolest cakes when we were little. She said her favorite was a the barbie cakes, and I told Mom never made me one of those. Well she remembered I had said that and decided to make me my FIRST BARBIE CAKE.... and dang was it FUNNY!!!! It' s the guy from High School Muscial. We all sure got a big laugh out of it..... Em just crakes me up!!!!
For my Birthday dinner, a friend of my told me about a place called Pirate Island Pizza. It was so cool and very much kid friendly. It's like the Myan and Chuck-E-Cheese combined and all about pirates. There were arcades and everyhthing. It was great! The Kids loved it and the food was really good!!

The kids had alot of fun together!! They are such cute cousins!!
Emily was taking some fun flying pictures of the kids. I love this one of Druw!!! It looks so cool with the pretty sky behind him.

We we're able to go on a fun little hike in the hills of St. George. The weather there was perfect!!! It was a gret day for hiking. Druw is for sure a little outdoorsman, he loved being up in the mountains, just like his daddy!!!

This year at my familys Christmas party my Mom and Dad surprised the Grandkids by inviting "The REAL" Santa to come. (He really was the realest looking Santa i've ever seen, they did a GREAT job picking him!) The kiddos were so excited!! There was a little mixed emotion from little Tre, he didn't know what to think but eventually he warmed up to him.

Druw even pulled Santas beard and yup folks.... it was real!!!!! :)
We even got Sheri to sit on good old St. Nicks lap.... it was so funny!!!
Santa whatcha lookin at you little perv?! BUSTED!!! Ha ha!! Now I know why older pretty girls (with a rack) shouldn't sit on Santa's lap!! :) Ha ha!!!

Our Christmas this year was really fun! Druw understood things like Santa and stuff alot more so it made it even funner! Probably like alot of other peoples tradtion, we too open up one present Christmas eve and it's always a nice new pair of pj's to sleep in!! Druw loved his Lightning Mcqueen pj's and light up robe!!
Another Traditon that we just started up (The St. Johns in our ward gave it to us :) is we have a "Special Santa Clause Key" that we put out side our door so Santa can get in our house to put the presents under the tree. Druw got really into it!!! He was so cute to watch hang the key! And he was even cuter to watch once he woke up in the morning and realized Santa used the key and really put presents under the tree for him. I love the cute fun stage he's in right now!!!

Every Christmas season the married couples in my family get together and go out!! The past years we've gone to dinner and a Christmas play, this year we decided to just do a pot lick mexican dinner and play games! It was a blast! Of course for us to be able to do this we need a babysitter for the little kidos. My Mom ( who is such an awesome fun Grandma) wathched them for us! She had planned some fun things for them to do, and making their own pizza was one of them. She let them make a mess making the dough and everthing! Brooklyn and Druw had a BLAST!!! It's always a fun different adventure with Grandma!!!
Thanks Mom!!! We love you!!!
