This year at my familys Christmas party my Mom and Dad surprised the Grandkids by inviting "The REAL" Santa to come. (He really was the realest looking Santa i've ever seen, they did a GREAT job picking him!) The kiddos were so excited!! There was a little mixed emotion from little Tre, he didn't know what to think but eventually he warmed up to him.

Druw even pulled Santas beard and yup folks.... it was real!!!!! :)

We even got Sheri to sit on good old St. Nicks lap.... it was so funny!!!
Santa whatcha lookin at you little perv?! BUSTED!!! Ha ha!! Now I know why older pretty girls (with a rack) shouldn't sit on Santa's lap!! :) Ha ha!!!

CHRISTMAS WITH THE CARRS

Our Christmas this year was really fun! Druw understood things like Santa and stuff alot more so it made it even funner! Probably like alot of other peoples tradtion, we too open up one present Christmas eve and it's always a nice new pair of pj's to sleep in!! Druw loved his Lightning Mcqueen pj's and light up robe!!
Another Traditon that we just started up (The St. Johns in our ward gave it to us :) is we have a "Special Santa Clause Key" that we put out side our door so Santa can get in our house to put the presents under the tree. Druw got really into it!!! He was so cute to watch hang the key! And he was even cuter to watch once he woke up in the morning and realized Santa used the key and really put presents under the tree for him. I love the cute fun stage he's in right now!!!

Druw is at the age where he is into ALOT of different toys and movies and things. He REALLY loved all the fun presents that he got but his all time favorite was the small Toy Story figures that we gave him! He LOVES Buzz and Woody!!!

I Got Nate some Jazz tickets for christmas so it was fun to go as a Family and enjoy the game!!

The BEST part of Christmas was being able to take a break from work and just spend time together as a famliy!!! Famliy is the most important thing in my life and i'm so greatful Nate and I have such fun goofy and loving familes!!! Thanks for all the nice gifts and good laughs this Christmas!! We love ALL of you!!!!

AnOtHeR FuN DaY At GrAnDmAs HoUsE...

Every Christmas season the married couples in my family get together and go out!! The past years we've gone to dinner and a Christmas play, this year we decided to just do a pot lick mexican dinner and play games! It was a blast! Of course for us to be able to do this we need a babysitter for the little kidos. My Mom ( who is such an awesome fun Grandma) wathched them for us! She had planned some fun things for them to do, and making their own pizza was one of them. She let them make a mess making the dough and everthing! Brooklyn and Druw had a BLAST!!! It's always a fun different adventure with Grandma!!!
Thanks Mom!!! We love you!!!

(She also let them brake the wish bone that was from Thanksgiving.... Of course they didn't understand the whole meaning of it but it sure was cute watching them try to brake it!!!! )

Thanksgiving 2008

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, I hope it was a great one!

I'm thankful all the special people in my life, for the love and joy they bring to me. I'm also very thankful for all the continous little blessings that Hevanly Father blesses me with everyday! Most of all i'm SO thankful for my awesome husband and best friend Nate and my sweet little boy Andruw...I love you both SOOOOOOOOOOOO Much!!!

For Thanksgiving this year we and a GREAT time! We had it with all of Nates family which was really nice. Nates sister Dakota and her family just moved back to Spanish Fork into a huge house with 4 achers of property, so she genorously volunteered to have Thanksgiving at her place! Of course there was the amazing turkey dinner with lots of yummy side dishes and mouth watering desserts but the best part of Thanksgiving was wathching all the kids have a blast! Let me explain.... Going over to Dakotas house is like going to a petting zoo ( but WAY better!!) They've got a Pony some Lamas some goats some chickens some bunnys and a dog oh and not to mention a four wheeler and some way other awesome toys!! Lets just say it makes every other house look BORING to go to... especially for kids :)!! I'm not even kidding Druw was in HEAVAN over there!! He 's an animal lover so it was so cute watching him and all of his cute cousins play togther with the animals. We really had such a great time!! So thanks Ryan and Dakota Cameron Brandon and Charley for an awesome memorable Thanksgiving!! We love you guys and we're SO glad you live close by again!!!

Druw REALLY loved palying with the chickens.... This is so funny..... (sorry about the second video I don't know why it's not facing the right side up)

MaRiLyN MoNrOe BaBy!!!

So my awesome Aunt Coleen is getting her make-up artists licence and she called me and said she needed to do a Marilyn Monroe look and asked if i'd like to be her model. Of course I said yes, I mean getting all dolled up and not having to do a thing i'd be a fool to pass that by! Anywho getting this little Monroe make-over gave a slight boost to my self esteem a bit because my aunts instuctor ( who worked in Hollywood for 3 years) said I had great features and that they should use me for more make-overs and photo shoots. I was blown away with how well my aunt did on this look, I must say it freaked me out a bit to see how much I looked like the famous beauty icon. Who would have ever thought? Not me!!! Ha Ha!! :)

HapPy HaLLoWeEn

We had so much FUN carving pumpkins as a family!!! As you can see from the pictures below we might of had bit TOO MUCH FUN!! Things get pretty crazy around here when we carve our pumkins so watch out!!! :)

Andruw really got into cleaning out his pumpkin. He loved it and had a blast getting his little hands messy in the gooey seeds!!

Nate helped Druw carve the Batman symbol in his pumpkin. Druw thought it was the coolest thing ever when we put the candle in it!!! What a great Daddy Nate is!!!
Every year our family has a Haunted Home Evening hosted by Scott and Fia. Costumes are required so Nate dressed up as a Caveman and I dressed up as a Cavewoman!

We're crazy..... but were also crazy in love!!!! :)

Andruw was Buzz Lightyear!!!He thought he was the coolest kid on the block!!! He thought he could really fly and he'd always say.... too infinity and beyond!!! Here he is with Brooklyn who was a cute little Princess!
These were the only pictures I had cuz my Camera died on Halloween but we really did have an amazing fun time this year!!!!

A FUN DAY WITH THE COUSINS AT HEE HAW FARMS!!!

A Few weeks ago we decided to go spend a day at Hee Haw Farms in American Fork. Kevin and Emily brought Brooklyn and Mylee. Fia Brought Tre and of course my Mom being the cute fun Grandma that she is wanted to come have fun too!!

There were so many fun things to do there.....

The kids (and Fia :) went on the cute animal tractor/train ride.... there was a huge fun slide that we went down....

There were SO many animals that we saw!!!! We were able to pet most of them!!! The kids were in heaven!!!

And I can't forget to mention the "Corn Box" The Kids LOVED this!!! They didn't want to get out!!! Kevin kept throwing little pieces at us, he knew it was annoying us but he kept at it so my mom saved some in her pocket and when we got back to the car she shoved it down his pants when he was putting the girls in their car seats! It was so funny!!!

We had such a fun time there and cannot wait to go again next year!!!

Matt leaves for Calgary Cananda!!!

My little sister Sheris boyfriend Matt, left for the mission field in Calgary Cananda on Wednesday!!! We all are SO proud of him!!! We LOVE you Matt and we can't wait for the day you get back so you can marry our little Sheri!!! :) You're going to be a GREAT missionary!!!

Druw and Matt had avery strong connection!!! He was Matts little buddy. This is when Druw was saying his final goodbye to Matt.... It was so cute and kinda sad cuz Druw got really teary eyed and hung on to Matt. It was like he knew what was going on... kinda weird how a two year old can pick up on things!!!

Matt would ALWAYS take Druw for rides in his Jeep!!! He Loved it!!!
